About Us

Who we are

Ceylon Emporium

It is all about the Sri Lankans rising from the ashes!

According to reports, over 30% of the country’s population faces ultimate poverty and cannot even meet basic daily needs such as food, medicine, and child-care products.

This group consists primarily of daily wage earners who cannot make ends meet. Their lives got more challenging with the recent socioeconomic faced by Sri Lanka.  Lack of work, fuel to travel, and high cost of living had crushed their lives.

Among them are very talented individuals who are creators and entrepreneurs. They produce high-quality homemade items and sell them locally to make a living. However, the prevailing situation halted all their efforts, as it drastically reduced the annual tourist visits to Sri Lanka.

As an appreciation for their endless efforts and exceptional creativity, even amidst life’s hardships, we initiated Ceylon Emporium.

We aim to sell high-quality products online through skilled entrepreneurs and small-scale producers, not only just by creating a platform, but also by giving them certified training in business and craftsmanship to earn foreign exchange. Simultaneously, it would improve the quality of their lives and bring their lost smiles back.

From handicrafts to preserved foods and tea, this platform allows everyone to earn additional income from international markets by selling a wide range of products. Slowly but steadily, we believe Ceylon Emporium, together with your purchases, would help eliminate their poverty.

It is one small step at a time! – One purchase at a time!

So, welcome to Ceylon Emporium! A platform for Sri Lankans by Sri Lankans.
